Hassan Vargas-Tobón is currently a dialysis nurse for a Fortune 500 company. As a nurse, he works daily to inform patients and their families in the different options on how to do dialysis, benefits, and adjustments that come with the life changing diagnosis. Hassan Vargas-Tobón is the cofounder and owner of A2 Special Projects where he is an instructor, public speaker, and a leadership consultant. While working for a Fortune 500 company, he ran the home therapies department at Westover Hills and was instrumental in helping the clinic achieve a five star rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid. Hassan Vargas-Tobón has spent his adult life in the service of others. Be it on the front lines in the wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, or training Navy Special Warfare personnel in Coronado, and training patients to do dialysis at home, or public speaking and mentoring leaders. The core values of honor, courage, and commitment are what drive him to continue to serve others and make a better world. Hassan is a father to an energetic girl and likes to spend his and his daughter’s time around a body of water or in the great outdoors.
A 24 year veteran of law enforcement Tim has served as a Chief of Police, SWAT commander, General Department Instructor, Tennessee POST firearms instructor, and department armorer. He is a graduate of the FBI's Law Enforcement Executive Development School as well as their Instructor Development Course. His only two breaks from that field was to be a US Department of State Contractor in Afghanistan along the Iranian border and a Doctor's assistant for a private practice. He has training in advanced tactical response, Tactical Emergency Casualty Care, back country tracking, and as a certified armorer for Windham Weaponry, Colt, Remington, and Glock.
A devoted public servant with over 20 years in the Information Technology (IT) field and currently holding a CompTIA A+ certification. He has worked in Law Enforcement for 7 years with 3 years as a Detective of Computer Data Forensics in the State of Tennessee and a Post Secondary educator teaching Computer Science, Computer Networking, & Cybersecurity for 4 years. He is currently serving the position of Database /Software Officer for the local county school system and a Lieutenant with the local volunteer fire department.
